Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As an Assistant Manager in Transmission Process Engineering, you will be instrumental in overseeing comprehensive engine assembly and rigorous testing processes, ensuring alignment with production volume, quality standards, cost objectives, and customer satisfaction benchmarks. Your role involves fostering a collaborative environment by supporting peers and subordinates to achieve organizational goals related to Production, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale (PQCDSM). You will actively participate in managing employee relations and drive skill development among team members through multi-skilling initiatives and innovation programs.
Key responsibilities also include facilitating coordination with departments such as Supply Chain, Planning, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to meet production schedules and quality targets efficiently. You will lead the implementation and maintenance of system documentation aligned with TS16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Your expertise in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) will guide continuous improvement efforts, encouraging employee engagement in various improvement projects like Operator Improvement Teams (OIT), Continuous Improvement Teams (CIT), and Kaizen events which contribute to significant revenue savings and operational enhancements.
Driving process development and enhancements to boost productivity, quality, and delivery, while minimizing costs through a customer-centric approach, will be central to your role. Additionally, you will apply your knowledge of emission testing parameters for Tier 3, Tier 4, and Bharat Stage 4 engines to optimize performance in alignment with environmental regulations.

- B.Tech graduates should have between 3 to 6 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating progressive responsibilities in process engineering and production management.
- Diploma holders are expected to have a more extensive experience range of 7 to 10 years, providing deep operational expertise and leadership in shop floor environments.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing principles is highly valued. Equally important is familiarity with system compliance requirements like TS16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001, reflecting a commitment to high standards of quality, environmental stewardship, and workplace safety.
Critical Experience
