Assistant Manager - Spare Sourcing

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Ensure buying activities (scheduling, follow up, liaising with Transporter) of all bought out items & Spares parts. Responsible for maintaining inventory within norms. Key responsibility is to ensure timely availability of material as per plan.
Functional Deliverables :
•Coordination with Supplier for timely supplies/100% schedule adherence & resolve any pending payment issues.
•Coordinate with Customer Care and Product Support Team to work on Non serviceable parts/Alternate Parts/Interchangeable parts and understand requirements through E Catalogue
•Timely adherence to Customer queries.
•PO release/PR Closure/Old ASN closure.
•Ensure procurement as per Customer priority (VOR/BDT/Back Order) and monitor & improve its effectiveness
•Daily work on Back order & commercial FFR

General Experience
Critical Experience
Competencies\Personality Traits: (Minimum 3, In order of Priority):
In-depth knowledge of Sourcing process
Good knowledge of Product & product aggregates
Knowledge of vendor base in India preferably Auto Ancillaries in India
Communication Skills: Written & Verbal English, Hindi, Regional language preferred
Good communicator at all levels. (Role Involves dealing with vendors)
