Brand Manager - SBU

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Help shape and communicate our vision and mission
Analyse the our brand positioning of SBU through consumer insights and industry benchmarking
Translating brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
Perform regular market research studies to gather important brand data and follow best known practices
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
Work closely with several advertising agencies to manage brand marketing campaigns
Maintain contact with Dealers and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved
Develop custom brand management plans for each product and submit updated summaries on brand exposure to management each month
Assist in the design of retail packaging as well as the creation of in-store marketing displays
Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

Education Qualification
Post Graduate in Marketing/Brand
5-7 Years of relevant experience
General Experience
Industry Preference: Automobile / FMCG / Lubes / Batteries / Auto Ancililiary / Building Products Industry etc.

Proven working experience as Brand Manager
Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written
Excellent understanding of the marketing mix
Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job
Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers, Mathematical skills to help establish an appropriate budget and monitor expenses.
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
Decision-making skills to determine the appropriate brand message that will achieve their company's goals
Assess the existing customer base and create an effective marketing strategy
Need to have good time management skills to coordinate schedules and meet project content deadlines.
