Deputy Manager - Fire & Security Kanhe

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Responsible for ensuring smooth working of Shift Fire & Safety Operations. All Fire equipment to be fit in use all the time.
• Fire load calculation and upgrade all Fire System
• Follow all process for proper AMC for all Fire equipment’s
• Responsible for adherence to OHSAS certification and guidelines
• MIS and reporting to management on FIRE safety hazards and related issues.
• Create a team of fire fighters in operations (identify, train and ensure their support/ help in critical situations)
• Conduct periodic, Mock drills and ensure fitness and calibration of Fire equipment’s
• Liaise with external agencies – Fire and Safety department
• License Management related to all statutory approvals
• Ensure adherence to work permit rules and execution
• Ensure awareness and adherence to Safety and Fire related processes and guidelines
• Fire training to be done to contractor manpower before start of work and periodic upgradation
• Celebrate Fire & Safety week, initiatives to promote awareness on fire and Safety
• Monitor and reduce fire load in premise
• Support to Project dept for installation of latest and updated Fire Fighting System.

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

• Education: Graduate with Degree/ Diploma Certification in Fire and Safety from recognized university/ Institute.
• Experience: 5-6 years in Fire (Manufacturing or Warehouse Industries)

OHSAS

• Firefighting skills
• Fluent in spoken English, Hindi & Marathi language, effective liaison with Local police and Govt. bodies (Fire Dept).
• Ensure implementation of corporate policies on Fire & Safety.
• Keep management inform on all activities

Systems/ SAP knowledge - 

• Should be able to operate computer with windows, Excel, SAP, PR/PO, Legal Compliance, CCTV.
