Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfilment. The role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to optimize warehouse operations.


Key Responsibilities:


•    Warehouse Operations Management:
o    Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
o    Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching automotive spare parts.
o    Monitor and manage warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
o    Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, from receipt to dispatch.
o    Coordinate with various stakeholder & ensure alignment of warehouse activities with business needs.

•    Inventory Control:
o    Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to track stock levels, turnover rates, and order accuracy.
o    Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
o    Identify and manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory to optimize stock levels.
•    People Management:
o    Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse on role & off role staff
o    Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching.
o    Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with company policies.

•    Health and Safety:
o    Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.
o    Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
o    Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among warehouse staff.

•    Technology and Systems:
o    Oversee the implementation and utilization of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
o    Operating knowledge of various automation eg- Conveyors (WCS), sorters etc 
o    Analyse warehouse performance metrics

Min 8-10 Yrs

Critical Experience

  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable with MS Office – Excel, Access, Word,    PowerPoint, Power Bi
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Preferred to have knowledge of SAP modules – MM and SD
  • Driving cost optimization & Network optimization initiatives to achieve organization goals to achieve best in class customer experience & cost target.
