Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfilment. The role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to optimize warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching automotive spare parts.
- Monitor and manage warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, from receipt to dispatch.
- Coordinate with various stakeholder & ensure alignment of warehouse activities with business needs.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to track stock levels, turnover rates, and order accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory to optimize stock levels.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse onrole & offrole staff
- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among warehouse staff.
- Oversee the implementation and utilization of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
- Operating knowledge of various automation eg- Conveyors (WCS), sorters etc

General Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the automotive spare parts sector.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouses
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems, WMS.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
