Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Create business plans and develop business strategies to achieve business aspirations
Set business goals and objectives accordingly
Collect, research, track and analyze relevant business data with nationwide applicability
Write and present reports with findings and insights
Perform complex analysis of overall company performance
Plan and Adhere to budget guidelines for new business investment
Manage complex sales cycles and navigate large-scale deals
Negotiate terms of service, negotiate prices and draft vendor / supplier agreements
Cold call with appropriate sectors and product categories to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
Financial management, leading new business opportunity drive and ensuring key stakeholder relationships are maintained and developed
Driving performance through the implementation of key commercial arrangements involving fees, new business development, work in hand, expenses and cash flows
Project Management skills to ensure specifications are met in line with commercial requirements
Strong commercial acumen to align Business Unit performance with overall goals and achieve profitability in an efficient and cost effective way
Set goals and direction for the department, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
 

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

5-7 years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Business Administration/MBA, or equivalent experience

General Experience

Industry preference: Automobile / FMCG / Lubes / Batteries / Auto Ancililiary 

Critical Experience

    Previous working experience as business manager 
    Forecast accurately with a deep understanding and knowledge of the teams forecasted revenues and new business opportunities
    Highly analytical and creative
    Excellent presentation skills
Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job:
    Hands-on experience with different databases and complex IT systems
    In-depth knowledge of different research and data analysis procedures and methods
    Strong understanding of business, commercial acumen across landscape
    Experienced with enterprise reporting systems, with SAP experience strongly preferred
