Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching automotive spare parts. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize operational efficiency. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align warehouse activities with overall business objectives.

Inventory Control: Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock tracking. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain data integrity and prevent discrepancies.

People Management: Lead, train, and develop both on-roll and off-roll warehouse staff. Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews to drive team effectiveness.

Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations across warehouse operations. Conduct periodic safety audits and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.

B.E./ B.Tech./ MBA

General Experience

•    Minimum 7-8 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the automotive spare parts sector.
•    Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouses (minimum 5 lakh sq. ft.).
•    Strong understanding of inventory management systems, WMS and logistics.
•    Team management skills.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
