Data Privacy & Data Protection Lead

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust processes, policies, and standardization frameworks aligned with CMMI to ensure quality and consistency across network operations.
  • Design and validate network architecture and design documents, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Lead vendor development activities, including negotiating Statement of Work (SOW) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) to secure optimal service delivery and compliance.
  • Establish and oversee centralized monitoring and management systems for network performance, security, and availability across multiple locations.
  • Manage and execute large-scale projects at sector, group, and global levels, driving transformational initiatives that enhance network capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Provide expert support for location-specific projects, ensuring alignment with overall network architecture and organizational goals.
  • Promote knowledge management by developing, updating, and disseminating critical documentation, SOPs, and best practices to support continuous learning and expertise within the team.
  • Plan and conduct audits for network enhancement at key locations, ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain centralized documentation repositories encompassing SOPs, critical updates, and network inventory to facilitate transparency and accessibility.
  • Explore emerging technologies, lead proof of concept (PoC) initiatives for new products and services, and integrate innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and conduct comprehensive Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for network security adherence.
  • Align technological capabilities with evolving business needs, fostering collaboration between technical teams and business units to maximize value delivery.
  • Drive the rollout of global best practices in project execution and service delivery to ensure consistency and quality across all operations.
  • Manage location-based support teams, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management to enhance service efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Oversee support sustenance activities, including ongoing maintenance, issue resolution, and optimization of network performance to sustain operational continuity.

Experience

We seek candidates with a minimum of 9 to 10 years of professional experience in telecommunications, network architecture, or information security domains. Experience working on large-scale, complex projects at sector, group, or global levels is highly valued. Proven expertise in vendor management, policy development, and network security compliance—including hands-on experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)—is essential. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to lead transformational projects and support sustained network operations. Prior exposure to centralized monitoring systems and knowledge management processes will be highly advantageous.

Industry Preferred

Preferred industries include telecommunications, information technology, network services, and digital infrastructure. Experience in automotive or manufacturing sectors with significant digital transformation initiatives will be considered a strong asset. Candidates with backgrounds in enterprises that manage large-scale, distributed networks and require stringent security compliance will find this role well-aligned with their expertise.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Additionally, professional certification in network management or security, such as Certified Network Professional (CNP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), is strongly preferred. Continuous professional development in emerging network technologies, cybersecurity, and project management is encouraged to excel in this role.
