About the Role

 

We are hiring for a seasoned technology leader to take charge of enterprise application systems for finance, FP&A, audit, treasury, and compliance functions across a multi-sector conglomerate. This role is a replacement hire, previously held by a highly experienced professional, and forms a critical leadership position within the Group Technology Office (GTO). You will work closely with Group CFO stakeholders to manage systems, lead transformation, and deliver technology excellence at scale.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Own the technology roadmap for Finance, FP&A, and Compliance domains in partnership with the Group CFO’s office.
    • Manage end-to-end lifecycle for enterprise applications, especially SAP (functional + technical), and other finance platforms.
    • Lead financial consolidation technology initiatives across group companies on a quarterly basis.
  • Program & Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with sector CFOs, controllers, and FP&A heads to deliver high-impact outcomes.
    • Interface with internal leaders across Finance and Technology, ensuring alignment of goals and timely execution.
    • Partner with DevSecOps, data platforms, and compliance teams  for integrated delivery.
  • Delivery Oversight:
    • Supervise project deployment, architecture reviews, incident management, and enhancements across Finance, Treasury, Audit, and Compliance systems.
    • Drive ~10% HR tech projects (e.g., manpower planning tools) in partnership with HR systems teams.
    • Ensure clear deliverables, effective vendor governance, and high-performance team culture.

Experience

    • 15–20 years in enterprise application roles focused on Finance Transformation and SAP ecosystems.
    • Demonstrated success in multi-entity, high-compliance environments.
    • Experience leading large internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with ICWA or MBA (Finance) along with deep tech experience may be considered.
