Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Fluid Efficiency (FE) & COO (Cost of Ownership) Improvement: Ideation & Evaluation
2. Identify and prioritise focus areas for Fuel Efficiency improvement.
3. Field FE Data analysis and dashboard representation.
4. Scheduled Maintenance Calculation & competition data compilation.
5. Tracking & De-bottlenecking of FE, Performance, Validation & Field activities.
6. Co-ordination with teams across organisation for alignment with target goals and de-bottlenecking.
7. New Technology Benchmarking & Feasibility Study.
8. Develop timing and test plans for design validation work.
9. Competitive analytical forecasting of fuel economy capability.
10. Competitive BIC vehicle testing and data analysis.

Experience

7-10 years

Industry Preferred

Experience in OEM – Fuel Economy & Vehicle performance, Component testing etc.

Qualifications

ME/M.Tech/BE/ B. Tech

General Requirements

Desirable Competencies:

Functional:

Knowledge of overall vehicle fuel efficiency affecting factors for example, rolling resistance, air drag, BSFC, auxiliary etc.

Advance knowledge about peripheral system like, Cooling system, Air intake system, Exhaust system, manufacturing variations like wheel alignment, EOL etc. and their impact on vehicle Efficiency.

Good task management skills and co-ordination with various stakeholders.

Advance knowledge of parameters affecting total cost of ownership of a commercial vehicle.

Knowledge of component testing, standards, and pre-requisites.

Knowledge of Hybrid, Electric and Alternate fuel like CNG/Hydrogen.

Knowledge of BI Tools like Power BI, Tableaue etc will be advantage.
