Assistant Manager-Engine Design

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

- Creation & release of 2D and 3D for engine parts & subsystems

- Engineering releases for new / changed parts and management of Add-Del

- Design & detailing of engine components and sub-assemblies in NX environment and management of part design in PLM software

- Concept layout preparation and part level Design & detailing of engine components and sub-assemblies for new product, Cost reduction, Product improvement

- Development of DVP, DFx, DFMEA and SOPs etc.

- Execution of engine/component benchmarking, engine assy support to plants during trials

- Analysis of parts from engine endurance and field testing

- Field failure analysis and resolutions using different QC tools

Education Qualification

B.Tech (Mech/Automobile) / MTech (Mech/Automobile/M/c Design)

General Experience

2 to 6 years of relevant experience
