Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Sound understanding on manufacturing processes for forging, maching & casting parts. 
2. Failure analysis and systematic problem solving for quality issues in plant as well as field.
3. Exposure in new part development & process establishment at supplier end.
4. Knowledge on tool/ fixture designing concepts to achieve part/ process consistency and manage trouble shooting.
5. Responsilbe for new parts PPAP approvals and DOL conversion.
6. Ensure new parts FTR and staight pass clearance post PPAP approvals.
7. Drive supplier performance improvement through capability ehancement.
8. Develop & execute plan for supply defect reduction considering receipt/ line feedback.
9. New supplier evaluation and selection through detailed process and system audits.
10. Plan preventive audits and controls for DOL parts sustenance to ensure no complaints/ rejection in DOL supplies.
11. Supplier Quality Rating Improvement through focussed approach.
12. CAPA Closer at Suppliers for supply issues and Poka yoke implementation for CTQ parameters.
