Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Derive product specifications for various elements in sheet metal from requirements given by product planning.
• Experience in designing various sheet metal parts Bonnet/Panel/Fenders/Perforation etc in consideration with DFA/DFS/DFM.
• Experience in manufacturing processes of developing sheet metal & Plastic components.
• Modifications to address irritants in existing products and offering new features in existing products.
• Co-ordination with CAE for design optimization.
• Identify Failure mode in new design and prepare DFMEA.
• VA/ VE activities – Creation of ideas & execution to realize the savings
• Co-ordination for development, testing & assembly of initial batches as per targeted launch plan.

B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

General Experience

2-8 Years of experience in Sheet Metal Design
