Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

VendorManagement Cost estimation, Negotiation, & Price settlement of Component ( Forging ,Gears & Machining) Capable to identify the GAP in capacities and productionupgradation at supplier end .
Review and monitor Development of tooling, Fixture, Gauges to ensure APQPtime plan met.
Co-ordination with supplier qulaity team to ensure timely and flawlessdevelopment.
Manufacturing process knowledge of Casting/Forging/Gear and machinedcomponents.
New process Development process- APQP and PPAP.
Commodity price trend as well and market study for benchmarking.
Quality Improvement Ability to Lead CFT for improvemnet at supplier end
Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and deliveryrequirements
Value Engineering / Cost Reductions- Ability to generate new ideas of bringing doen Material cost either byselection of material or by optimisation of design / process cost
