Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Employee Relations Management:

  • Driving culture-building initiatives on the shop floor in collaboration with line managers.
  • Ensuring peaceful and disciplined industrial relations within the company.
  • Implementing vigilance drives and improving employee connect programs.
  • Maintaining discipline and fostering industrial peace and harmony.
  • Ensuring shop floor discipline and managing disciplinary actions.
  • Acting in an advisory capacity to support employee relations managers.
  • Assisting ER Head in compliance and settlements (LTS & LTA).
  • Supporting digitization initiatives, shared services in ER, and HRIS implementation.
  • Ensure zero industrial unrest and maintain harmonious labor relations.

 

Training and Development

  • Preparing the training Ensuring Dexterity Training is imparted before deploying on shop floor.
  • Driving capability-building initiatives, including training needs identification, calendar development, and skill-building programs.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of capability-building initiatives.
  • Conducting and coordinating SETHU Drives (employment forum for Diploma Trainees).
  • Driving higher education initiatives for Diploma Trainee Employees (DTEs).

Employees Engagement drive:

  • Working closely with DH’s & Shop floor Managers for better deployment, engagement & harmony
  • Driving R & R initiatives
  • Driving various Engagement and Involvement Initiatives
  • Implementation of engagement survey, its analysis of data, action planning and implementation of initiatives
  • Monitoring and tracking changes in the external industrial relations environment.

 

 

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

MBA in Employee Relations/Human Resources or equivalent specialization.

General Experience

  • Should have 15-16 years of relevant experience in ER functions in manufacturing company 
  • Manufacturing sector with exposure to shop floor operations and ER functions.
  •  
    Experience in digitization and HRIS tools for ER processes.
  • Exposure to shared services and automation in HR operations.
  • Participation in strategic ER projects and settlements (LTS & LTA).
  • Experience of Factory stint.

Critical Experience

  • Strong knowledge about labour laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and logical abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to work under high stress and protect company from legal difficulties
  • Must be well organized, and accurate in work
  • Should be conversant with Hindi, Marathi and English languages
