Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Management:

   - Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers ensuring they meet the company’s standards for quality, delivery, and cost.

   - Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings while ensuring supply chain reliability.

2. Procurement Strategy Development:

   - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for all indirect purchases related to the profile.

   - Ensure strategies to optimize cost, minimize risk, and enhance efficiency within the supply chain.

   - Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sourcing activities with overall business requirements and priorities.

3. Cost and Contract Management:

   - Lead cost-reduction initiatives across all the associated materials.

   - Negotiate long-term agreements and contracts with suppliers to secure best pricing and delivery terms.

   - Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures and maintain accurate procurement records.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

   - Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, CDMM and operations teams to understand requirements and specifications.

   - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure material needs are met within budget and on schedule.

   - Support new project developments (for both in plant & CDMM team) by ensuring timely sourcing of material required and production related parts.

Education Qualification

B.Tech (knowledge in Manufacturing Processes, Operations, Machinery & Supply Chain will be an advantage.
