Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Vendor Management 
- Development and commercial know-how of core proprietary components such as Fuel System, After treatment system, Electricals etc.
- Technically sound in manufacturing processes of mentioned commodities. Working level knowledge of Forging/Gears will be an added advantage.
- New projects Tooling/Capex estimation
- Capacity evaluation of suppliers
- Floating RFQ, technical synthesis closures, DVP closures with suppliers/R&D
- Should have good knowledge of vendor database

2. Quality Improvement 
-  Capable enough to coordinate with the supplier and QA team for quality improvement
- Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- Co-ordination with NPD quality team for sample//APQP/PPAP closures
- Able to do Buyer assessment for new suppliers

3. Project Management
- Ability to work in cross functional teams across various functions especially following "New Product Development" Gate-stages and adherednce to them as SIPOC 
- Cordination with Buyers and Development Teams for enabling understanding of Project Milestones, Parts Delivery dates
- Ability to influence the internal stakeholders for ensuring the project delivery against the target timelines & the cost
