About the Role

As a Senior Executive in Minituber Production at Mahindra HZPC Pvt. Ltd., you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality production of minitubers, contributing significantly to the agricultural supply chain and innovation in seed production. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that blends traditional agricultural techniques with modern production efficiencies. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, managing labor effectively, and driving adherence to stringent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage minituber production activities within budgeted expenses, optimizing resources for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure production complies with established product and process quality standards, upholding the reputation of Mahindra HZPC Pvt. Ltd. for excellence.
• Supervise and enhance labor productivity by effective management and motivation of the workforce, including on-site training and development of supervisors and employees.
• Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality in production output.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports within stipulated deadlines to inform and support decision-making.
• Promote and uphold a safety culture that protects both manpower and product integrity, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and innovate processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Master's degree (M.Sc) or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, or related fields is required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in field or greenhouse production, preferably within the seed production, protected cultivation, or floriculture industries.
• Hands-on knowledge of seed production systems and advanced agronomic practices is critical to success in this role.
