Education- M.Sc. (Agri) / Ph.D. in Agri Sciences ,Seed Technologist, or related. Masters degree mandatory.

 Experience Minimum of 5years in Quality and Risk Management. Quality and risk tools, mandatory  in field crop seeds and vegetable seeds sector.

 Languages English & Hindi Fluent spoken and written. Others Willingness to travel.

Position Objectives

· To effectively manage facility Quality Operations in Potato Seeds and provide regional support in all type of Protection and Safety activities to the Quality Management and Quality Control organization.

• Should have hands-on experience of Field Quality, Lab Quality, Grow-out Tests in Seeds industry

· To support operational and regulatory compliance, delivery of quality seed product to customers, and Company's seed strategy. Aligning quality management operational activities in concert with the Production and Processing Technology  organization to ensure appropriate product quality and process standards.

· Prepare a Product Quality Control strategy and investment plan that supports seed and supply strategies and also manage all budget of quality control in this region.

· Manage people from different departments in order to communicate effectively with them.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Technical Competences ü Solid knowledge of Quality and Risk Management tools. ü Data Analytical Skills, Good knowledge about Quality control, labs and field, Grow-Out-Tests. ü Be proficient in Quality improvement techniques and problem solving tools. ü Good knowledge of auditing techniques. ü

 Be experienced in Product Quality management in regards to specifications & regulations. ü

Should know all Seed Quality Parameters as per Government Seed Act

ISTA- Rules & Regulations- should have knowledge

Latest Quality Amendments- such as Bar Codes, Day to Day updation in Seed quality parameters (Such as Germination complaints change), Test Reports for Compliance

Certified ISO 9000, ISO14000, [Need to Check]

SAP Knowledge- Quality Modules (QMS), full control and quality systems on SAP

As a member of the Regional Quality Management Team, actively interface with teams critical for seed quality management, including Production , R & D, and Operations

To ensure QM practices in P&S are integrated, optimized, and verified, particularly for processes that impinge on seed quality, product and trait performance, trait purity, and risks linked to GM seeds and business continuity. ü To ensure full alignment of regional P&S QM with goals and objectives of the Global Quality Management Team ü To lead the Territory Quality P&S Team for Crop & Vegetable Seeds. ü To support to develop/reinforce an ethic culture throughout Seeds business ü To support the agenda, output and follow-up of the territory Quality Management Team meetings. ü To adapt and adopt the Global QM system to meet specific Regional and Territory P&S needs. ü To organize the Territory P&S Quality Management and Quality Control structure. ü To ensure the QM processes are customer centric and act on customer driven feedback. ü To support the QMS and QC communication process in the territory and align it with the Regional of QM operations. ü To motivate and to support to the territories Quality Management Team

 To support the development, implementation and maintenance of an efficient territory auditing plan, ensuring the defined quality requirements are well implemented in the different regions and support functions. ü To coordinate the territory P&S Quality Management Team in risk management (quality risk assessments), and project management ensuring alignment across the territory and region and support functions. ü To identify gaps or new methods of Product quality in align with the Head of PPT. ü Accountable for a Product Quality Control strategy [Quality Audits]
