• Inspire, lead and ensure healthy relation at all times with customer, supplier and employees within and outside department
• To have better employee engagement in the department for fetching optimum results
• Grooming & Enhancing Technical & function skills of officer through training
• ABC analysis of spares and machines
• Spare parts planning & procurement
• Budget planning (Capital as well as Revenue) and execution
• Responsible  for keeping budget under control
• Resource planning for the department

Technical

 Preferred knowledge areas:
•In depth Knowledge of CNC and PLC machines with fanuc and Siemens for gear cutting ie hobbing and shaving, gear grinding and housing machining ie HMC and VMC
•Indepth Knowledge of Transmission Assembly line wth trouble shooting.
• In depth Knowledge of 7QC tools, ISO 9000, TS 16949, TPM, DWM, 5S. 
• Hands on experience for trouble shooting on variosus machine tools and furnaces in Heat Treatment 
 •Basic knowledge of Heat Treatment.
• Knowledge about Innovation
• Knowledge about change management.
• Knowledge about Global trends in machining. 
•Technological upgrades with benchmark practices.
• Knowledge about Low cost automation technology.
2.Basics of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems (Siemens, Mistubushi ,Allen Bradley).
3.test bed components: dynamometers, fuel measurement systems, emission analyzers.
4.Calibration and maintenance of test bench sensors and instruments.

5.Understanding CAN, LIN, Modbus, or other industrial communication protocols

1.Attend & resolve the different types of breakdowns on Electricals & Electronics of  Manufacturing Equipment's through systematic approach to ensure non-repetition of breakdowns.( Diagonostic skills)
 Scheduling & execution of Preventive Maintenance _TBM, CBM, Online PM.
2. Ensure Equipment Software backups at regular interval & keep records of any modifications.
3.Process parameter monitoring & controlling.
4. Co-ordination with maintenance team as well as the service engineers for equipment service work, AMC etc. 
5. Co-ordination with Production, Plant Engineering & other stake holders for major improvements, process change, new model/variant adaptation & new practices. 
6.Equipment safety compliance to be audited & maintained periodically.
7. Maintenance record updating & MP sheets/Design improvement to be shared.
8. Subordinates Training & development.
