Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
• Supplier Scouting and Industry Mapping:
• Conduct thorough scouting of potential suppliers for engine proprietary components.
• Perform detailed mapping of industry references to identify leading suppliers and emerging trends within the industry.
• Supplier Selection and Price Negotiation:
• Identify and select appropriate suppliers for various engine proprietary components.
• Lead the price settlement process, ensuring competitive pricing that aligns with company standards and budget constraints.
• Costing and Product Cost Analysis:
• Develop cost estimates for various engine proprietary components using predefined templates and comprehensive product costing methodologies.
• Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:
• Analyze suppliers' balance sheets for commercial negotiations.
• Assess financial health and risk indicators of suppliers to mitigate potential risks to the supply chain.
• Cost Reduction and Negotiation Strategies:
• Identify and implement innovative cost reduction ideas during negotiations.
• Develop and execute plans to realize cost savings without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
• Negotiation Skills:
• Exhibit strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth negotiations and long-term partnerships.
• Price Containment:
• Implement strategies to contain and manage prices effectively, ensuring alignment with overall cost management objectives.
• Supplier Risk Management:
• Develop and execute supplier risk management and mitigation plans.
• Proactively identify potential risks and take steps to minimize their impact on the supply chain.
• Compliance to process and systems with high degree of Ethical Conduct.
• Benchmarking Technology and Prices:
• Conduct benchmarking studies to compare technology and prices across the industry.
• Use benchmarking data to inform decision-making and ensure the company remains competitive.
• Cross-Functional Team Coordination:
• Demonstrate strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams (CFT).
• Facilitate collaboration among various stakeholders to achieve common goals and drive project success.

- Hand-On exprience in SAP, Advanced Excel, Presentation
