Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Sourcing :

Supplier Identification and evaluation - Identify, research, and evaluate potential new suppliers based on their technology Quality and reliability and adherence to ethics/sustainability standard

Strategy Development : Prepare and implement the sourcing strategies for specific commodities ( e.g Leaf Springs , Suspension, Properties parts and stab linkages

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and innovation.

Costing & Negotiation

To workout MHR, costing Norms and Zero-based costing of parts

Negotiation - Lead and execute the Negotiation for new projects and continue to thrive the best cost for current projects parts.

Legal and commercial contract - Draft , manage and able to give valuable input for long term commercial and legal contract

Cost Optimisation and reduction - Spend analysis , Bench marking, LPP, VAVE tool to drive the cost optimisation and reduction

RM & FX indexing - Able to benchmark and analysis of Commodity price fluctuation and negotiate with suppliers to fix the date and indexing frequency.

Localisation drive - able to drive and pus supplier for maximum content localisation in India to hedge the FX impact.

To prepare the cost saving roadmap along with execution of action plan to meet the management set cost reduction Target

Financial Acumen - to read and understand the balance sheet and decode the action -plan for Financial red suppliers.

To be equipped with current and possible expected Change in tax structure and the impact on Automotive parts.

CFT approach: Cross functional collaboration with peripheral dept - Engg, CDMM and SCM to meet the projects timeline with quality of product. Able to evaluate the supplier new Mfg facility and Tech as part of CFT

SAP Expertise: Proficiency with the ERP system like SAP and advance skills in data analysis tools

Risk & Compliance: ESG/Safety and Financial risk assessment and puss supplier to upgrade to green Zone/Ranking

Digitisation : Digitisation and Automation in Sourcing process

Special projects: To be passionate to take the special project and present to Sr management with the required outcome of projects

Coordination: To be a team player to coordinate the specific activity at dept Level and generate the MIS every week

VAVE/Technology Workshop: Drive to conduct the VAVE workshop and Technology presentation & Product display to adopt the New tech for future projects

Sanction/restriction: Action Plan and agreement with supplier to mitigate the supply risk
