Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Strategic sourcing of parts with the knowledge of following processes:
Fabrication and Assembly:

- Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and machines.
- Assemble parts to create tractor components, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
Additional Skills:
- Welding and soldering expertise.
- Knowledge of metal properties and best practices in fabrication.
- Understanding of quality control standards in manufacturing.
Costing in Sheet Metal Fabrication:
1. Material Costs:
- The cost of raw materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, etc.
- Includes costs associated with purchasing, transportation, and storage.
2. Labor Costs:
- Wages for technicians and laborers.
- Additional costs for overtime and specialized skill labor.
3. Equipment Costs:
- Depreciation of machinery like press brakes, cutting machines, and welding tools.
- Maintenance and repair costs for equipment.
4. Overhead Costs:
- Utility expenses, rent of the manufacturing facility, administrative costs.
- Costs associated with safety equipment and compliance with regulations.
5. Production Costs:
- Costs related to setup and changeover times between different parts.
