Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Policy Development and Implementation:

Leverage insights from internal and external sources to design and develop robust Employee Relations policies and guidelines.

Legal Representation and Compliance:

Represent management in legal matters, ensuring all legal risks are evaluated and statutory obligations related to labor laws are adhered to across locations.

Strategic ER Interventions:

Analyze business needs and propose tailored ER interventions and solutions to meet organizational objectives.

Industrial Relations Management:

Maintain harmonious industrial relations through vigilant workforce management and proactive measures.

Workforce Skill Development:

Develop and execute systematic plans for skill upgradation and multiskilling of employees based on operational requirements.

Team Development and Mentorship:

Provide developmental opportunities to team members, enhancing their expertise and professional growth.

Litigation Management:

Evaluate case trends and criticality to identify settlement opportunities and implement risk mitigation measures in consultation with legal advocates.

Audit and Compliance Oversight:

Lead audit architecture and drive annual compliance audits across plants, SBUs, MRV, MEML, and area offices.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

Ensure timely provision of analytics and data to support ER strategies. Represent management in statutory and legal matters, liaising with Group Legal for Auto Sector-related issues.

Budgeting and Expense Management :

Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses for respective areas, ensuring financial discipline and alignment with operational goals.

Education Qualification

Master of Labour Studies;

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, Industrial Relation

General Experience

12 to 16 of experience in Employee Relations, along with 

Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to manage complex ER issues and legal matters.

Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Strategic thinking with a focus on employee development and organizational growth.
