Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities: 
1.    Strategic Planning & Market Development
•    Design rural marketing strategy aligned with overall business goals.
•    Identify high-potential rural markets using data-driven insights (vehicle penetration, income levels, infrastructure, education, census data etc.).
•    Develop rural-specific product positioning and pricing strategies.

2.     Sales Enablement & Channel Development for enhancing the connect/reach
•    Develop & Strengthen rural network: onboarding, training, and incentivizing rural dealerships.
•    Support channel partners with rural-focused campaigns and tools.
•    Drive retail sales through localized activations and outreach programs.
•    Rural Tie Ups with media partners, CSCs, KVKs, ITIs , Consumer durable companies

3.    Rural Communication & Brand Building for brand presence/awareness
•    Create culturally relevant campaigns using local languages, festivals, and traditions.
•    Leverage traditional & digital media (Haats, melas) and digital platforms (WhatsApp, YouTube, vernacular apps).
•    Build trust and brand affinity through community engagement and local influencers, Milaap, Rural entrepreneurship and employment opportunity program 

4.    Customer Engagement & Experience
•    Understand rural customer behaviour and buying cycles (e.g., harvest seasons).
•    Organize experiential marketing: test drives, mobile vans, village demos.
•    Segment development initiatives: Contractors, transporters, Small businesses
•    Facilitate financing options 

5.    Data & Performance Monitoring
•    Track KPIs: Rural sales volume & market share, lead conversions, dealer performance, campaign ROI.
•    Conduct market research and consumer feedback loops to refine strategy.
•    Collaborate with analytics teams to optimize targeting and resource allocation.
•    Process for 

6.    Cross-functional Collaboration
•    Work closely with:
•    Sales & Distribution for execution.
•    Brand teams for rural-specific variants.
•    Finance for rural credit schemes.
