Overview
The Lead – Digitization will be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives across the Automotive & Farm Division’s end-to-end value chain, primarily encompassing supply chain, transportation & inventory management, manufacturing, sourcing & procurement, logistics, sales operations, and dealer networks. The role requires strong expertise in digital technologies, enterprise applications, and process transformation, along with the leadership capability to collaborate with internal cross-functional technology teams, system integrators, and IT product companies to deliver scalable digital solutions.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Digital Strategy & Roadmap Development
• Define and execute the digital roadmap aligned to business goals for supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and sales operations.
• Identify digital opportunities through maturity assessments, benchmarking, and evaluation of emerging technologies.
• Drive digital-first thinking and operational excellence across functions.
2. Program Leadership, Project Management & Agile Transformation
• Lead enterprise-wide digital projects involving applications & suits such as (indicative) SAP SCM/MES/Ariba, Blue Yonder, Infor, Oracle Cloud, Kinaxis and other digital tools/platforms i.e., Enmovil (or of same league).
• Oversee the end-to-end business analysis & delivery cycle—requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization; initiative-taking in identifying whitespaces & creating relevant business cases.
• Work closely with in-house IT & technology teams, system integrators, and IT product companies to ensure seamless solution implementation.
3. Process Re-engineering & Continuous Improvement
• Re-engineer key business processes across supply chain, procurement, logistics, and operations with a digital-first mindset.
• Identify automation opportunities through RPA, AI/ML, digital analytics, IoT, and workflow technologies.
• Track and report KPIs to measure transformation impact—cycle time reduction, cost optimization, service-level improvement.
4. Stakeholder, Technology Partner & Change Management
• Collaborate extensively with internal cross-functional teams—SCM, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Enterprise IT.
• Partner with system integrators, cloud partners, software OEMs, and digital product vendors to design scalable, future-ready solutions.
• Drive organizational change management, ensure user adoption, and build digital competencies across business teams.
• Maintain strong governance and communication across business, IT, and vendor ecosystems.
Experience & Skills
• 10–15 years of experience in industry value chain digitization or manufacturing driven enterprise transformation programs.
• Experience in leading implementations at scale or managing Digital Supply Chain, Extended Warehouse Management & Transportation/Logistics of following is a plus – SAP TMS/SCM, Oracle TM/SCM, BY, Manhattan or focused point solutions like Enmovil, Descartes Systems etc.
• Proven experience working with internal IT teams, enterprise architecture groups, technology COEs, and cross-functional business teams.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with system integrators (SIs), consulting partners, and IT product companies to deliver digital solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, integration architecture, analytics platforms, data analytics, and agile methodologies.
• Exposure to automotive, industrial products, or complex manufacturing setups is preferred.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science preferred).
• MBA or advanced degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Digital Transformation is desirable.
