DGM/Senior Manager - CV product planning Manager - Connected Car, EV & emerging Technology

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

• Define and maintain the EV technology roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends.
• Identify innovation opportunities in EV and connected technologies for Small commercial vehicles - IMAXX.
• Benchmark competitors and emerging technologies to inform product direction.

Market & Customer Insights:

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to gather VOC (Voice of Customer) and translate into product features/product definition or refreshes.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with R&D, engineering, design, manufacturing, service and supply chain teams to ensure feasibility and timely execution of current projects in pipeline.
• Lead cross-functional product planning meetings and ensure alignment across departments.
• Work on enhancing the penetration of iMAXX and renewal rates for adoption. Build relationships with external partners to develop the ecosystem around Connected truck – Finance, Insurance, Fastag & ancillary suppliers.

Business Case Development along with Finance:

• Support investment decisions with data-driven insights.

Lifecycle Management:

• Manage product/technology from concept to end-of-life, including refresh and update strategies.
• Evaluate performance of connected vehicle features based on customer feedback and usage data. Use insights to recommend course corrections as needed.

Analytics:

• Develop & use analytics platform, driving usage across internal stakeholders. Insights to be shared for product improvement and usage of data across different departments.

Experience

10 - 15 years of experience

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

BE / B. Tech with MBA / M. Tech (preferred)
