Deputy General Manager - Solution Architect

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Define and execute enterprise digital transformation strategies aligned with business goals, customer needs, operating-model priorities, and measurable value.
- Own the transformation roadmap across business processes, applications, data, integrations, cloud adoption, automation, and user experience.
- Lead large, complex, multi-workstream programs from initiation and business case through planning, delivery, rollout, stabilization, and benefits realization.
- Establish program governance, delivery cadence, decision forums, reporting standards, risk controls, quality gates, and escalation mechanisms.
- Translate business objectives and pain points into clear requirements, process improvements, solution outcomes, priorities, and release roadmaps.
- Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, process assessments, design-thinking sessions, and executive alignment meetings.
- Challenge requirements constructively, identify process simplification opportunities, and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and outcome-focused.
- Define and embed best practices for program management, solution delivery, architecture governance, change control, documentation, testing, release management, and operational readiness.
- Lead enterprise integration strategy across business applications, platforms, external partners, banks, suppliers, customers, and data services.
- Oversee integration patterns and delivery for APIs, web services, event-driven interfaces, file-based exchanges, batch processes, master data, and secure data transmission.
- Ensure integration initiatives address reliability, security, performance, monitoring, error handling, reconciliation, auditability, and supportability.
- Coordinate business, product, architecture, engineering, security, data, operations, finance, procurement, and vendor teams to remove delivery blockers.
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, RAID logs, milestones, quality, and business acceptance.
- Lead vendor and partner management, including selection support, statements of work, delivery performance, commercial governance, and issue resolution.
- Drive organizational change, communications, training, adoption, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Create executive-level status reports covering progress, value, risks, decisions, financials, dependencies, and corrective actions.
- Build high-performing cross-functional teams, coach delivery leaders, and promote accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Lead pre-sales, proposal development, solution shaping, client advisory, executive workshops, and transformation assessments when required.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive experience in digital transformation, enterprise program management, technology consulting, solution delivery, or related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-scale transformation programs with multiple business units, regions, vendors, and technology workstreams.
- Strong experience in requirements management, business process transformation, stakeholder alignment, delivery governance, and executive reporting.
- Proven ability to lead integration programs across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, third-party systems, and external business partners.
- Experience defining target states, roadmaps, business cases, operating models, implementation approaches, and measurable benefits.
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, enterprise architecture, APIs, data flows, cloud adoption, testing, release management, and production operations.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, vendors, contracts, and senior-level escalations.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, negotiation, presentation, documentation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business, technology, security, data, operations, finance, procurement, and vendor organizations.

Qualifications
- Experience with Cloud Technologies, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, or other major enterprise platforms.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, HR, manufacturing, automotive, logistics, retail, or other complex operating environments.
- Enterprise architecture, cloud, integration, process excellence, change management, or IT service management certification.
- Experience leading global rollouts, shared services, managed services, platform modernization, or post-merger transformation programs.

Program Management & Governance
- Set up program structures, workstreams, roles, responsibilities, governance forums, and decision rights.
- Apply structured methods for planning, estimation, dependency management, risk management, issue resolution, quality assurance, and benefits tracking.
- Define delivery metrics and dashboards for schedule, scope, cost, quality, risk, adoption, and business outcomes.
- Manage phased releases, pilots, global rollouts, cutover planning, hypercare, stabilization, and post-implementation reviews.
- Maintain transparent communication with executive sponsors and provide timely recommendations on trade-offs and corrective action.
- Institutionalize lessons learned, reusable playbooks, delivery standards, and continuous improvement across the transformation portfolio.
Enterprise Integration Leadership
- Define integration principles, reference architectures, interface standards, ownership models, and lifecycle practices.
- Guide integration of ERP, CRM, HR, procurement, finance, logistics, customer, supplier, and third-party platforms.
- Oversee API-led, service-oriented, event-driven, and file-based integration approaches according to business and technical needs.
- Ensure interfaces are documented, tested, monitored, reconciled, secured, and operationally supported.
- Coordinate data ownership, master-data dependencies, data quality, migration interfaces, and reporting requirements.
- Guide modernization of legacy interfaces and reduce duplication, manual workarounds, point-to-point complexity, and operational risk.
Digital Transformation Best Practices
- Promote business-outcome-led transformation rather than technology-led implementation.
- Use standard processes, reusable capabilities, product thinking, and incremental delivery wherever practical.
- Embed security, privacy, compliance, resilience, accessibility, and operational readiness into transformation planning.
- Use data and transparent metrics to assess adoption, value realization, process efficiency, service quality, and customer experience.
- Balance speed, cost, risk, technical debt, and long-term maintainability when making transformation decisions.
- Establish clear ownership across business and technology teams for requirements, processes, data, integrations, controls, and operations.
