Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Prepare Material cost for business case preparation by providing cost benchmarks and options
• Share part/ system wise material cost with platform team
• Evaluating Vehicle at System/Part level at different stage of Development of Product from Business case to SOP
• Keep track on timely feasibility comments on SOR basis business case targets
• Keep track on timely SBC for Part to SSU
• Timely communication of ROCM SBC to SSU
• Support Internal systems to facilitate necessary cost approvals due to all change events wrt Cost
• MonItoring and tracking of Project business case ( material cost targets)
• Provide visibility on overall material cost and raise necessary risk alarms along with mitigation measures
• Should Be costing for Automotive Components
• Technical Knowhow of various manufacturing processes, its cost drivers & ability to optimize the cost through various alternative & optimized process.
• Identify the areas of cost reduction through design iteration & assist design to achieve the cost targets.
• Cost benchmarking of the Internal & external vehicle systems/parts

Experience

• 4+ years of work experience in Automobile Industry.
• Knowledge of Automotive Transmission Function and Parts
• Exposure to Automatic Transmission Manufacturing or Design or Development or Sourcing,
• Exposure to Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Powertrain
• Experience of Electrical/Electronic part Costing/Sourcing related to Transmission
• Knowledge/Awareness of upcoming new technologies in Transmission
• Closely work with CFT to get desired cost inputs
