Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Roles and Responsibilities

Industry knows how-
- Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, crude oils, base oils, paints, thinners, chemicals, Adhesives & sealants etc.
- Industry study, Product study, Technologies, and Trends, Spend analysis, Design and cost drivers, M&M Business needs, Strategy Options, Benchmarking, Strategy recommendations and approval.
Cost Management –
- Knowledge of Paint, Sealants & Oil formulations, and technical details about the same
- Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE
Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution
Supplier Management - Onsite supplier assessments, identification of gaps, action planning and monitoring
Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit
Legal knowledge related to supplier agreements is added advantage

Automobile

Farm Sector

Chemicals Engineers or equivalent degree

4 to 6 yrs experience

In-depth knowledge of Sourcing
Knowledge of Trims & plastics industry, mfg. processes
Knowledge of Supplier base about auto ancillaries in India
SOR study & technical analysis of SOR/PART/SYSTEMs
Quote synthesis & Supplier selection.
Estimation as well as negotiation
Analytical & Problem-solving skills
Expert in SAP/MS office
Commodity knowledge, Technology trends, Industry knowledge, Supplier base, Commercial knowledge, Environmental Analysis
Understanding of Balance sheets and P&L of suppliers
