Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Deputy Manager - Parts, you will be responsible for driving the spare parts business in coordination with Country Managers, distributors, service teams, plants, warehouses, logistics, accounts, and SBU teams.
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive spare parts business performance in coordination with Country Managers, including payment follow-up, retail sales tracking, market potential study, sales loss analysis, distributor network reach, and benchmarking of global best practices.
  • Ensure monthly order execution with complete understanding of spare parts processes, documentation requirements, and compliance with laid-down policies.
  • Support M&M field teams, HO service teams, and distributors for urgent supplies and concern resolution by coordinating with warehouses and plants to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Build capability of distributor spare parts teams through training on systems, processes, inventory management, Mahindra DMS, parts catalogue reading, and query portal usage.
  • Analyse loss of FFR and coordinate with relevant teams to address systemic gaps for sustainable improvement.
  • Track VOR / RUSH FFR on a daily basis to improve service responsiveness.
  • Coordinate with SBUs for BO parts ETA and ensure receipt as per committed timelines.
  • Coordinate with SBU CC team for MSS allocation and STO tracking.
  • Track high-value BO parts and follow up with sourcing teams to ensure availability within the same month and maximise execution value.
  • Follow up on country-specific documentation, import licences, BIVAC / SGS inspection requirements, and related compliance needs.
  • Arrange parts from the local market in case of urgent business or service requirements.
  • Generate accessories orders from distributors as per the agreed business plan.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS on order execution status after sales closing, in coordination with accounts and logistics teams.
  • Coordinate IT projects by sharing BRDs, business logic, testing inputs, and supporting final production rollout as required.
  • Resolve obsolete and non-serviceable parts issues with SBUs as and when they arise.

Education Qualification

We seek a candidate with the following educational qualifications:

Graduate or Post-graduate, preferably from an esteemed institution, with minimum 80% score and no backlogs.

Your academic foundation will support your ability to excel in complex projects.

General Experience

  • 3-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP, spare parts operations, order execution, distributor coordination, supply chain follow-up, documentation compliance, and business performance tracking.
  • The candidate should be process-oriented, analytical, and capable of working with multiple stakeholders across sales, service, logistics, accounts, sourcing, IT, and SBU teams
