Overview
Mahindra is a major Indian automotive manufacturer present across passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, and electric vehicle verticals and is currently working on an exciting multi-year Digital Transformation for their automotive division. The role will play an integral role in delivering on the objectives of this digital transformation program.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Develop a multi-year roadmap for digital transformation in supply chain management
- Execute strategies for digitizing supply chain processes, focusing on organizational and operational processes and improved decision-making capabilities
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks through digital transformation interventions that enhance supply chain resilience and agility
- Deliver a blend of functional expertise to transform business processes, drive innovation/best practices as well as technical expertise in digitization tools
- Partner with cross-functional business teams in driving process redesign and transformation efforts to improve the efficiency of business operations
- Create technology & integration strategy best suited to meet business requirements
- Partner on technical requirements, technical architecture and specifications for digital solutions to ensure consistent approach across deployments
- Lead engagement with technology providers, technical and business teams to drive implementations
- Actively collaborate with business stakeholders to drive adoption of digitization programs
- Formulate program construct and address roadblocks to drive timely delivery of transformation projects and own execution success
- Lead change management through collaboration, conflict resolution and critical problem-solving abilities
- Support steerco meetings with project sponsors
Requirements
- 8-10 years of industry or consulting experience in supply chain operations & transformation including business process design
- Hands on S&OP functional and transformational experience in large, complex organisation landscapes
- Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS platforms, supply chain planning & execution methodologies and technologies
- Experience leading large cross-functional teams in complex digital engagements
- Ability to lead and deliver on concurrent complex projects
- Technical proficiency in relevant digital tools; evaluate emerging supply chain digital technologies
- Demonstrated experience with supply chain analytics
- Technical aptitude to understand and integrate business strategies with technology
- Measure value from digital initiatives through relevant KPIs/metrics etc.
- Bachelor’s in engineering; Master’s degree in supply chain operations preferable
- Relevant certifications such as APICS CPIM, Six Sigma, or PMP are a plus
- Experience across industries preferred; knowledge of automotive industry is desirable
