Manager- Ethics & Governance

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Assist in investigations pursuant to complaints and allegations of ethical wrongdoing or conflicts of interest.
  • Develops and maintains confidential procedures for the handling and processing of complaints and allegations
  • Identifying and engaging partners for Investigation support
  • Present key updates, issues to BEGC & senior management to seek decision wherever required
  • Working closely with Risk assessment team: Analyzing risk areas in business with regard to each policy in conjunction with the Risk Team
  • Reporting: Prepare documentation for Audit Committee and CGC quarterly presentations
  • TMW Assessment – Support business teams in periodic TMW assessments to identify compliance, policy and process gaps as per the laid down framework.
  • Compliance: Monitor the completion of compliance e-modules and ensure annual compliance is adhered through periodic follow-ups.
  • Ethics counsellor program: Update the list monthly and manage the programme
  • Responsible for the “Speak-up” Helpline
    • a.Transition to the new helpline
    • b. Backend admin support
    • c. Case Management
    • d. Trends & Analysis reports
    • e. MIS & Reporting
  • Reporting: Prepare documentation for Audit Committee and CGC quarterly presentations
  • Anticipate emerging trends in the industry to design appropriate function wide intervention that helps in staying ahead
  • To be amiable, professional and approachable at all times

Experience

4-5 years with a large organization known for its good Ethics & Corporate governance practices

Industry Preferred

Large Conglomerates / MNCs / Big4 /Banking / Legal Firms

Qualifications

  • Post-Graduation in Commerce / Law / CA / CS / Business Ethics or a related role.
  • Relevant professional certifications:(e.g., Certified Ethics and Compliance Professional, Certified Fraud Examiner).
  • Legal credentials preferred.
