Finance for Front End functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Dealer Development, Channel and Retail Finance)

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Sales function, including:
    • Sales performance analysis
    • Profitability reports
    • Variance analysis
  • Conduct strategic pricing analysis and share insights with senior management.
  • Perform monthly product-wise margin and variance analysis, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IND AS standards.
  • Deliver insightful financial commentary to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead annual budgeting  / quarterly forecasting for Front end function and monitor actuals against budget.
  • Manage internal and statutory audits related to Sales & Marketing.
  • Manage receivable and working capital
  • Manage and strengthen financial controls across front-end operations, ensuring compliance (RCM), accuracy, and efficiency in processes such as billing, collections, pricing, and customer transactions.
  • Analyse operating expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with front end teams to optimize resources and enhance profit margins.
  • Drive automation initiatives and maintain live dashboards for key metrics (Volume, Spares, Accessories, Dealer Stock).

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

 

Production Linked Incentive (PLI) & Subsidy Management

  • Possess working knowledge of the PLI scheme under the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI).
  • Preferably experienced in PLI incentive workings within the automotive sector.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for:
    • Existing product certification
    • AAT product certification with testing agencies and statutory auditors
    • Quarterly Review Reports (QRR) and other data submissions to MHI/IFCI/ARAI
    • Annual re-validation of Domestic Value Addition (DVA) certification
  • Support digital and automation initiatives related to PLI compliance.
  • Prepare and file PLI claims with complete backup data, certified by statutory auditors.
  • Monitor and report on FAME II/EMPS/PM E-Drive subsidies, including MIS and compliance.
  • Track and control other state-level subsidies and incentives.

 

Experience

4 to 6 years in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the automotive industry or a manufacturing setup.
