Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Cost Controller to drive strategic cost management initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyse cost structures and trends to identify inefficiencies, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct deep-dive cost analyses to uncover root causes of variances and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop advanced models for forecasting and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads to support the design and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor cost efficiency across departments and projects.
• Actively participate in quarterly and annual budget planning, ensuring cost projections are realistic and aligned with business objectives.
• Provide insights into cost behaviors and recommend strategies for optimization, including cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations summarizing cost trends, insights, and recommendations for leadership.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to enhance cost management strategies.

Experience

• Overall 4-6 years with 2-3 years of experience in cost analysis, cost accounting, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Knowledge of cost accounting standards and best practices (preferred)

Qualifications

Education: CA/MBA ( in finance)
