Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Manage demand planning, sales forecasting, inventory management, order-to-billing, launch readiness, outlier tracking, and VIP order management
- Drive 6-month bottom-up forecasts using competition mapping and variant-level slicers (transmission, fuel, segment, seating) to ensure right product–right time–right market and minimize inventory risk/obsolescence
- Set & execute dealer targets using data-driven inputs (past trends, ETBR, growth, market share, management direction) and deliver monthly billing plans in alignment with SOG, CPPC, DCM, RO, and Brand teams
- Develop steady-state requirement and capacity plans at variant/aggregate level using bookings, orders, dealer stock, billing and retail trends
- Own short-term (3M), mid-term (6M), and long-term (N+2) planning with precise variant-wise projections for manufacturing and material alignment
- Manage PAN-India billing, retail performance, allocations, and stock norms for assigned portfolio (e.g., Scorpio-N, Bolero, etc.)
- Analyze region/dealer-level performance to identify gaps, lost opportunities, and competition benchmarks; recommend corrective actions
- Track outliers and demand spikes; deliver actionable insights to leadership and field teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Manufacturing, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, IT, Field Sales) to align demand–supply and ensure launch readiness
- Act as single-window for field issue resolution and cross-functional de-bottlenecking
- Drive logistics planning (dispatch/load mix via rail/trailers) to ensure timely deliveries and superior customer experience
- Enable digitization, automation, system readiness for launches, and continuous process improvements
General Experience
8 to 12 Years (with at least 4 years of Sales / Demand Planning experience). Knowledge of any AI / Digital tool with Data Scientist experience will be an added advantage.
