Manager - Treasury MEAL

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Acting as single point of contact for banking, treasury, Cash Management of Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited (MEAL)                                                                                 
  • Managing surplus fund investment and minimisation of idle cash in consultation with Group Corporate Finance                                                                                             
  • Preparing and reporting monthly cashflows; flagging and co-ordinating necessary actions to address fund requirements                                                                                     
  • Responsible for smooth banking operations and related RBI compliances                                                                                        
  • Ensuring availability of adequate fund based and non fund based limits; active and optimum working capital management and necessary internal approvals on timely basis                                                                               
  • Smooth running of LC, BG issuances, supplier finance, factoring, receivables discounting etc for optimizing working capital utilization                                                                                           
  • Coordination of Forex hedging program with Corporate Finance/SSU                                                                                    
  • RBI reporting on FDI , FLA etc (in consultation with Group Corporate Finance), Application to RBI for approval for foreign vendor payments, if not covered under current RBI circulars                                                                                          
  • Maintaining and managing all Treasury related Board resolutions and Policies ; ensuring adherence to the same                                                                                  

Experience

4-5 year relevant post qualification experience (preferably in a conglomerate /across diverse businesses)
