Senior Manager/Manager- Program Mgmt, Product Planning

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

3. Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Serve as the Synergy Manager to align diverse functions, including PD, CDMM, Manufacturing, Marketing, and the President’s Office.
  • Facilitate alignment on product roadmaps during critical business planning phases such as SWR, OWR, MBR, Resource Week Planning, and Revenue Budget Exercises.
  • Work closely with Program Managers across PD, PTD (Powertrain Development) to synchronize delivery expectations related to product scope and timelines.

4. Launch Planning and Execution:

  • Coordinate with CDMM, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams (including Domestic and International Operations) to finalize launch-related planning activities.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of launch plans, minimizing risks and delays.

5. Portfolio and Concept Planning:

  • Lead and support responsibilities related to portfolio planning, product concept planning, and project planning to align with organizational growth strategies.
  • Conduct feasibility analyses for potential product concepts and ensure alignment with market demands and organizational goals.

6. Executive Reporting and Planning:

  • Collaborate with the ED Office to organize and plan for the ED APS reviews.
  • Provide detailed reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

7. Process Improvement and Support:

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Product Planning function to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic support to the PP HOD in driving initiatives that optimize the function's performance.

Experience

6 to 10 years

Industry Preferred

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, product planning, or related roles in the automotive industry, preferably with an OEM.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
