Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Roles and Responsibilities

Industry know how-
- Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, Paints, NVH, Adhesives, Sealant etc.
- Industry study, Product study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, Design and cost drivers, M&M Business needs, Strategy Options, Strategy recommendations and approval
Cost Management –
- Knowledge of Paint, chemicals & NVH formulations and technical details about the same
- Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE
Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution
Supplier Management -Onsite supplier assessments, identification of Gaps, action planning and monitoring
Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit
Legal knowledge is added advantage

Farm Sector

B.Tech, Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree

4 to 6 yrs experience

In-depth knowledge of Sourcing
Knowledge of Paint , NVH & Sealant supplier industry, mfg. processes
Knowledge of Supplier base about auto ancillaries in India
SOR study & technical analysis of SOR/PART/SYSTEMs
Quote synthesis & Supplier selection
Estimation as well as negotiation of part & tool cost (part, Dies & fixture)
Analytical & Problem-solving skills
Expert in SAP/MS office
Commodity knowledge, Technology trends, Industry knowledge, Supplier base, Commercial knowledge, Environmental Analysis
