Job Summary
The Digital Projects & Transformation Manager will lead digital transformation initiatives and technology projects that improve business processes, operational efficiency, and user experience. The role will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver applications, automation solutions, AI-enabled initiatives, and process improvements that drive measurable business value.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of digital and IT project portfolios from initial business scoping through successful deployment and value realization.
- Conduct business process discovery workshops, document current-state operations, identify inefficiencies, and recommend digital transformation opportunities.
- Author, review, and validate detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) with stakeholders.
- Translate complex non-technical business requirements into scalable, practical, and sustainable technology-enabled business solutions.
- Deliver and support business applications, workflow automation platforms, customer/dealer portals, mobile applications, and AI-based solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison between business leadership, technology teams, and external implementation partners throughout project lifecycles.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging AI tools, automation platforms, and digital technologies to improve efficiency.
- Manage technology vendors and implementation partners, including RFP evaluations, SOW negotiations, governance reviews, and SLA adherence.
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate issue resolution, and ensure successful production deployments.
- Drive end-user onboarding, stakeholder engagement, change management initiatives, and post-implementation adoption across business functions.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, resource utilization, dependencies, and risks to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Define project success metrics, track business benefits realization, and continuously optimize implemented digital solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes, improve data visibility, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT governance standards, cybersecurity requirements, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
Education, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration.
- 5-9 years of experience in IT project delivery, business analysis, and digital transformation.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, BRD/FRS preparation, UAT, and project governance.
- Experience with enterprise portals such as ERP, SAP, mobile applications, workflow solutions, AI and automation tools.
- Exposure to stakeholder management and vendor governance.
- Agriculture, FMCG, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or allied process industries will be an added advantage.
