Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the Role

The role will support key initiatives under the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET), including the K.C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post Graduate Studies Abroad and the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarships (MAITS), which empower economically disadvantaged students pursuing job-oriented diploma courses. The role also involves operational and reporting support for Project Nanhi Kali and managing grants that provide medical relief and educational support to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Project Management

  • Drive awareness, application screening, interview coordination, shortlisting, and disbursement processes for scholarship programs.
  • Oversee loan recovery for scholarship recipients.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Project Nanhi Kali under KCMET.

2. School Coordination

  • Liaise with schools to schedule meetings and ensure compliance with POCSO and POSH safety standards; organize relevant training sessions.
  • Coordinate school-level scholarships, excellence awards, and support the planning of annual events.

3. CSR Compliance & Budget Management

  • Assist in CSR compliance activities, including drafting MOUs, monitoring fund utilization, and managing budgets related to CSR initiatives.
  • Maintain and update operational manuals as needed.

4. Program Assessment & Reporting

  • Conduct quality checks on program data and milestone reports.
  • Manage and organize program-related data.
  • Support impact assessments for key initiatives.

5. IT Portals & Data Management

  • Prepare MIS reports across all projects.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to define business requirements and oversee the functioning of project-related portals.

6. Donor Engagement & Student Coordination

  • Share program updates with donors and follow up on renewals.
  • Respond to support queries and ensure timely resolution of complaints.
  • Coordinate with students for interviews and payment disbursements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive alumni database and document success stories.
  • Build a student network and platform to foster engagement and career opportunities.
  • Facilitate job linkages for scholarship awardees from underprivileged backgrounds.

Experience

3 to 5 years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree preferred; alternatively, a graduate degree in BBA, BCom, or related fields.
  • Legal education or knowledge is an added advantage.

General Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
