Sr. General Manager - CSR

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead Mahindra & Mahindra’s third flagship CSR project. The Senior Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, ensuring compliance with CSR regulations, and delivering measurable impact. This role demands extensive travel into interior parts of India to monitor interventions, engage with stakeholders, and provide strategic guidance. 

Role Requirements:

• Project Leadership: Lead the flagship CSR project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.

• Field Monitoring: Travel extensively to rural and interior regions to oversee interventions and assess impact.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with NGOs, government agencies, partners, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Independent Execution: Manage the project independently in its initial phase, balancing multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Compliance & Guidance: Ensure adherence to CSR laws and rules; guide the project team on compliance and reporting.

• Target Achievement: Drive measurable outcomes, monitor KPIs, and achieve project milestones.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel for documentation, reporting, and presentations.

Qualification & Experience:

• Professional Tenure: Minimum 20 years of experience in the social sector, across NGOs, think tanks, and corporate CSR functions.

• Academic Background: Preferably an alumna of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) or an equivalent institution.

• Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale CSR projects end-to-end, from design to execution and evaluation.

• Professional References: Must provide credible references attesting to integrity, leadership, and effectiveness in CSR project delivery.
