Job Purpose

To source material as per approved specifications within approved budget and as per project requirements to control the overall Cost of construction

Principal Accountabilities

• Being responsible for Material sourcing for the allocated region
• Driving best practices for Sourcing by implementing vision, strategy, policies, SOP and improving business performance
• Implementing purchasing strategy and processes and ensuring they are in place to meet business objectives in terms of price, quality, delivery, supplier selection, evaluation & budget monitoring
• Sourcing for Steel / TMT bars, Cement, finishing items, capital goods across the country
• Negotiating on Annual/Long-term Rate Contract Basis for long time and trying for Cost reduction within committed delivery timeline & assured quality
• Searching for alternate products for cost reduction to replace the ones in use without changing quality parameters

• B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engg.
• 10-12 years of work experience
