Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
The FP&A professional will be responsible for managing cash flow planning and analysis, budgeting, and efficient capital allocation to support the company’s financial health and strategic goals.
This role requires a blend of technical financial skills and strategic thinking to plan, manage monitor financial performance effectively.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Cash Flow Planning and Variance Analysis:
- Focus on detailing the inflows and outflows of cash within the business.
- Perform deep dives into operating business cash flows, capital expenditures (capex), and investments/divestments.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual data against forecasts and budgets.
- Annual General Corporate Office (GCO) Budgeting Exercise and Monthly Variance Analysis:
- Prepare a comprehensive annual budget that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
- Analyze monthly financial results to highlight budget vs. actual variances.
- Maintaining Dashboard for Management Reporting:
- Develop and update dashboards that visualize key financial metrics and performance indicators.
- Ensure that dashboards are user-friendly and provide real-time data for decision-making by the management.
- Projects Oriented Towards Efficient Capital Allocation:
- Prioritize and execute projects that ensure effective use of capital resources.
- Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities based on their expected returns and alignment with company strategy.
- Cash Flow Projects with Group Companies:
- Collaborate with group companies to manage and optimize cash flows through inter-company loans, dividends, and other financial arrangements.
- Address actionable points that emerge from strategy or budget discussions to improve overall liquidity.
- Driving Automation and Process Efficiency:
- Implement systems and processes that automate routine financial tasks to reduce manual input and errors.
- Focus on enhancing the overall efficiency of financial operations through the adoption of modern technologies such as AI and machine learning.
Experience
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
