Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
The HRBP role at Mahindra Group Corporate Office serves as a strategic partner, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to enhance employee engagement throughout the lifecycle. This position focuses on effective performance management, talent development, and succession planning while fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). By designing and implementing comprehensive programs, the HRBP aims to build organizational capabilities and nurture a positive employee experience, essential for shaping a high-performing workforce that reflects Mahindra's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnering:
- Collaborate with function leaders to design and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, including organizational design and workforce planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor on talent needs, succession planning, and workforce optimization.

Employee Engagement:
- Serve as the key contact for employees, enhancing their experience throughout the lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of high engagement, recognition, and appreciation through initiatives that promote employee satisfaction.

Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, coaching managers for effective discussions and development planning.
- Support compensation-related activities such as salary reviews and promotions, ensuring equity and market alignment.

Talent Management & Development:
- Partner with function heads and the Learning & Development team to assess needs and implement leadership and capability-building programs.
- Facilitate structured rotational programs to develop internal talent and ensure planned career movements.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Design and execute DEI strategies to create an inclusive workplace.
- Lead sensitization programs, support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and implement progressive policies, including returnship initiatives.
- Drive DEI certifications and ensure best practices in diversity and inclusion are adopted across the organization.
Experience
8+ years of HR experience, with at least one role as an HRBP or in a strategic HR capacity, demonstrating a strong track record of partnering with senior stakeholders in talent development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
