Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Deputy Manager - Internal Audit at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of operational and technical processes within the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive operations and technical analyses, performing detailed process and audit reviews in line with the Audit Plan, and actively participating in audit discussions. You will assist in preparing thorough draft reports that accurately reflect your findings and support effective decision-making.

Your role will involve gaining a deep understanding of business processes, preparing detailed audit checklists, and leading data collection and analysis efforts. You will be expected to actively participate in both opening and closing audit meetings, engaging stakeholders constructively to clarify objectives and outcomes. Preparing precise and informative draft audit reports will be an essential part of your duties, as will liaising with auditees to develop actionable plans based on audit results.

Maintaining meticulous post-audit documentation and ensuring all records are complete and accessible is critical. You will also contribute by conducting peer reviews to guarantee audit quality and compliance. Effectively presenting your findings to mentors, Chief Internal Auditors, and Domain Leads will require excellent communication skills and clarity.

Additionally, you will engage in various departmental activities such as investigations, meetings, presentations, and supporting the departmental budgeting process. Flexibility and readiness to undertake any other tasks as assigned by superior authorities are vital to this role, supporting the broader goals of the Corporate Management Services division.

Experience

0-3 Years

Industry Preferred

Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience in manufacturing sectors, especially in areas related to production and process engineering. Familiarity with shop floor quality programs, production workflows, or metallurgical processes is highly valuable.

Experience in companies focused on heavy manufacturing, automotive components, or industrial engineering will provide a strong foundation for this role. Knowledge of compliance standards and operational risk management within manufacturing contexts will also be an asset.

Qualifications

B. E (preferred streams: Production, Mechanical, Metallurgical ). (Streams not preferred: Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Tele, Civil)
