Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Lead the Improvement of Quality Performance of assigned Suppliers & Ensure Zero defect Supplies
2. Monitor Supplier Performance Against DOL, GR, LR and field Quality Indicators
3. Should be able to conduct VPPAP audits,  identify area of opportunity and Monitor actions to achieve  First Time Right & Every time right Performance
4. Audit Suppliers & conduct Product, Process and systems audit to ensure improvement in Quality Indicators
5. Coordinate & communicate with internal & external customers and ensure Closure of the issues/improvement opportunities identified in line with 2-2-2-2 principles
6. To be part of CFT or lead the CFT as operational time to time to ensure cross functional participation

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

Diploma in Mechanical Engg with 10 years of total experience or Degree in Mechanical Engg with 7 years of total experience or equivalent with hands on experience in Sheet Metal working,  Dies and Tooling operation and maintenance, Welding process in Farm, Auto or equivalent industry.

Any qualification on NDT will be added advantage.

General Experience

Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in the Sheet Metal Parts Development or Supplier Quality Improvement Role

Critical Experience

1. Hands on experience in PPAP and Systematic Problem solving techniques
2. Ensure that systems and procedures as specified are adhered to.
3. Ensures that location targets are executed as per agreed plans.
