Assistant Manager - Product Quality NGP

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Ensure quality of Tractors through Product & Process audits of Tractor Assembly and Paint shop & PTCED shop
- Good knowledge of sheet metal & plastic components.
- Support CQA for improving Field Quality of Tractors & implementation of warranty projects.
- Resolution of Concerns reported in New products (Seeding Batch and Pilot Batch) through O-R-C mechanism.
- Engine & transmission Aggregate assembly functional Knowledge is essential
- New product & process handling knowledge
- Analysing customer complaints, Assembly line rejection, Supplier parts analysis and taking corrective actions, Standardizing all the Quality Procedure.
- Experience in Quality assurance function in assembly plant
- Continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.
- Implementation of POKA-YOKES to eliminate human error.
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to processes with SOP/SOS by periodic process audit, SPC and MSA studies.
- Responsible for Engineering Change Management Process,
- Smooth launch of new model / new variants.
- Exposure to Quality management systems like ISO 9001, TS 16949, TPM

Education Qualification
To excel in the role of Assistant Manager - PQA Nagpur, we are looking for candidates with a strong educational background. A Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Diploma in Engineering in Production Engineering, Mechanical, or Automobile is essential. General Experience
If you have a Diploma qualification, we expect you to have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience. For candidates with a Bachelor of Engineering degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. Your experience in quality assurance, process improvements, and adherence to quality procedures will be highly valued as you take on the responsibilities of the Assistant Manager role in the Quality Assurance department.
Critical Experience
As Assistant Manager in Quality Assurance, having the right critical experience is key to your success. You should have expertise in tools and methodologies such as the 7 QC Tools, analytical thinking, Microsoft Office, SAP production & quality module, people management, and presentation skills. Your ability to drive results, lead a team effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances will be vital in ensuring the quality and success of our tractor products.
