Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Channel Network Expansion: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to grow our distributed solar footprint in the state. Develop strategies to strengthen existing partnerships and optimize performance. | |||||
Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive lead generation, sales pipelines, and deal closures for residential and small commercial solar projects. Plan and execute marketing activities with channel partners. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets by leveraging channel relationships and market insights. | |||||
Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth analysis of local market trends, competitor activities, incentives (e.g., state rebates, tax credits), and regulatory changes. Develop state-specific business plans to capitalize on opportunities in distributed solar. | |||||
Relationship Management: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with channel partners, providing training, marketing support, and performance feedback. Resolve issues promptly to ensure partner satisfaction and loyalty. | |||||
Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance, and engineering) to support project execution from lead qualification through installation and commissioning. | |||||
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all business activities adhere to state and federal regulations, including permitting, interconnection standards, and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records, reports, and CRM data on partner performance and sales metrics. | |||||
Performance Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as partner acquisition rates, conversion ratios, and revenue per partner. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance channel efficiency. |
Experience
Min. 3 years experience in channel based EPC sales (residential and small commercial) | |||||
Experience of handling channel business & channel management | |||||
Experience in using Advanced Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word. |
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
General Requirements
Strong understanding of distributed solar systems, including PV technology, financing options, and state-specific incentives. | |||||
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels. | |||||
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. | |||||
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis software |
